Based in the beautiful woodlands of The Hawthorns School, children have fun developing their bushcraft skills and making new friends whilst working in groups to solve challenges. Led by our Head of Outdoor Learning, children will learn wilderness skills, practice fire lighting and campfire cooking, have a go at camp crafts and participate in team challenges. Woodland Bushcraft Camp looks at each child individually and moulds the sessions around the children to enable self-esteem, independence and creativity to flourish in the fresh air.
To minimise contacts and allow parents to stay in their cars, parents will be invited to drop-off and collect their children at the front of the School building. Please note your child will require a packed lunch and snacks for throughout the day. Please remember we are a nut free school.
