For reception children – Year 8 children

Open each day of the school holidays from 8am to 5pm. Childcare vouchers are accepted.

Through The Hawthorn School’s outstanding facilities and extensive woodlands and grounds we offer Camp Hawthorns, operating from 8am to 5pm each day of the school holidays. Catering for children aged 3 to 13 we offer a wide variety of camps and courses, from our Holiday Playdays for pre-school aged children to our specialist Art Courses and Dance Workshops for older children. Multi-Activity Days are always thoroughly enjoyed. All children from the local community are welcomed and childcare vouchers are accepted.

Running :

Camp Hawthorns will be running in the Summer from the 15th July to the 4th September 2024 

Dear Customer, Unfortunately our pool is undergoing maintenance for an unexpected issue with the boiler. We hope to have the swimming pool back up and running by Monday 29th July. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Fresh air and fun at Camp Hawthorns!

Each day is packed full of a huge variety of exciting, age appropriate activities. No two days are ever the same, however, with our woodlands, grounds and the on-site swimming pool we always make sure we fit in some Woodland Games and a Fun Swim. Other activities, to name but a few, include Tennis, Football, Roller Skating, Build-A-Bear and the Wet-and-Wild slide with additional seasonally themed days on special occasions.

Multi-Activity Day Prices

To minimise contacts and allow parents to stay in their cars, parents will be invited to drop-off and collect their children from the front of the School building. 

Please bring a refillable water bottle, packed lunch, snack, sun cream and sun hat. We encourage healthy eating at Camp Hawthorns and are also a NUT FREE school. 

Themed Days and Special Activities

Activities are age appropriate; activity timetables are developed around the school year groups Reception & Year 1, Years 2 & 3 and Years 4 to 8.
