Mega Days operate during each holiday period with additional seasonally themed days on special occasions. The camp is suitable for boys and girls aged from 4 (fulltime education) to 12 years and operates from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
With The Hawthorns School’s outstanding facilities and extensive grounds at our disposal, Mega Days offer a wide range of activities for the children to take part in. Whilst working towards the aim ‘fun for all’, our activity timetable gives every child the opportunity to develop cognitively, physically, socially and artistically. The structured format of the day combined with an extensive range of varied activities creates an environment where children are encouraged to make new friends and try new activities.
Throughout the day children will have a choice of a variety of activities including indoor and outdoor sporting activities (including swimming), creative activities, structured games and free play sessions, as well as exploring the grounds.
During different times of the year we host specially-themed party. For example we host a Christmas party, Valentine’s Day Roller Disco, Halloween theme day and many more highlighted events over the year. During the summer more outside activities are introduced such as Water Games, Water Slide, Baseball, Rounders, plus use of the outdoor apparatus and woodland areas.
